Class sizes are limited to 6 students in order to have maximum individual attention. We have an enameling and metalsmithing teaching studio that is spacious, bright, clean and well organized. In addition to classes taught by Pauline Warg, guest artists will teach a variety classes.

Our hours are changed with the liquidation of the tool and supply store. WE are open only during the hours of classes. This is only for the classes as we do not have tools and supplies on sale on hand. We sell tools and supplies as are pertinent to our classes to our students and we take special orders. As of April 1, 2017, the teaching studio will only be open during classes ( see "classes"), by appointment or chance. Stay tuned for new methods of registering for classes this SPRING.

If WARG ETC has to cancel a class due to weather or staff illness, a make up class will be held. If a student has to cancel with less than one weeks notice, there is no reimbursement.

Torch Fired Enameling with Pauline Warg Learn all the basics of High fired enameling to add color and design to your metalwork. Using a torch to fire allows for an easier and less expensive way to enamel and get some exciting spontaneous and creative effects. The class will allow student to make many wearable samples. Health safety and set up will be covered. No prerequisite. Date: Saturday May 20, 2017 Time: 9 AM - 4 PM Fee: $150.00 includes all materials needed ( some additional supplies will be for sale during class or by order )
JUST SOLDERING with Pauline Warg Silver soldering is a complicated and necessary skill for most people making jewelry or doing small scale metalsmithing. This class covers, health, safety, set up and soldering with sheet solder, wire solder and paste solder. Many different situations will be demonstrated. Students will have the opportunity to practice hand on. Good for absolute beginners and those with some experience. Date: Saturday June 3, 2017 Time: 9:30 AM - 4PM Fee: $150.00 all materials included ( some supplies available during class or by order )
The Border Wrapped Pendant with Mig Lemire Mig will instruct students in how to wire wrap larger or unusual shaped stones in this elegant style ( see photo top of page ) which is done with NO soldering. Mig is a master at wrapping stones in a very stylized elegant manner. GYPSY SETTING for SMALL FACETED GEMS with Pauline Warg This is a method very similar to flush mounts, only for gems to be set on a curved surface (ex.: 1/2 round ring stock) Measuring, drilling, burring, and hammer setting will all be covered. This is a really nice looking way to set small stones without soldering on a setting. A practice ring will be provide for students to use for the settings. Date: Saturday June 24, 2017 Time: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm (1/2 day class) Fee: $80.00 ( includes copper ring, CZ's, and burs )
Making a Ring with A Bezel Set Cabochon: Beginning Jewelry Making with Pauline Warg This class will be four consecutive Wednesdays (3 hours each). Class will focus on the basics of jewelry making with a finished project of a silver ring with a stone set on it. Measuring, sawing, soldering, filing , sanding, bezel making, stone setting and finishing will all be covered. A great start for any beginner. Dates: Wednesdays 8/9, 8/16, 8/23, & 8/30 Time: 9:30AM - 12:30PM Fee: $250.00 ( includes silver and choice of cabochons for one ring)
Open Guided Studio with Pauline Warg Problem solving, technical consultation, design consult and use of the tools and supplies in the teaching studio. This is a time to work n the studio while Pauline is there to bounce ideas and questions off her while she is also working in the studio. A great time to work on projects in progress. Dates: 5/10, 5/17, 5/24, 5/31, 6/21, 6/28, 7/12, 7/19, 7/26 NO OPEN CLASS: 6/7, 6/14, 7/5, 8/2, 8/9, 8/16, 8/23, 8/30 Time: Wednesdays 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM Fee: $45.00 per session ( studio time alone is $15.00 hour )

I am very proud and excited that fARTlek Jewelry had a booth at the Donna Breast Cancer Marathon in Jacksonville, Florida this past February 2017 !!!
The Donna Marathon EXPO was FABULOUS!!! Met the greatest people and had the most interested , engaged and appreciative audience yet. Ran the 5K too........lots of good things going on.
This coming August Pauline will have a booth with the fARTlek Jewelry® line at the Beach to Beacon 10K road race EXPO at the Cape Elizabeth, Maine High School. August 3 & 4, 2017

The fully equipped studio at Warg Enamel & Tool is available for qualified persons to rent and use the facilities. The hourly rate for independent use of the studio is $15.00.
For all classes there is a non-refundable deposit of half of the class fee. The balance is due the first day of class.
Private Tutoring and Consultation with Pauline Warg is available when scheduling permits, at $65.00 hour.
Please call ahead at least a week in advance for either studio rental or tutoring. Thank you.
